    • Well I’d say because ceilings are not exposed to direct sunlight and are less likely to be damaged, the colors should naturally last longer. Although it also depends on the quality of the paint you use, some fade more than others over time. I personally like metallic tones when they fade… but we’re really talking 10 years down the road here, you’d be more likely to get bored with the motif before then 😀

    • Hi Becca,

      I hear ya! Old linoleum floors can be quite sad… stenciling is a great alternative specially because, like you said, it’s cheap and you can chose any color or pattern you like. For the bathroom floors you want to make sure you use a good primer + floor paint combo and a waterproof seal. Let me know how it goes!
